Leaving themes in "CW"(KK)

Leaving themes:
1. Their dad died
2. Caroline got married
3. Become US citizenship(leaving Haitian identity)
4. Immigration
5. Celianne

Thesis: People always "leave" in order to achieve the goals. In the story, all the characters either leave their home religion or the community that once belonged in order to chase what they desires.


Grace get certificate, becomes freedom, before the family was troubled by the papers.

Dad left Haiti, doing different approaches, different people use different ways to get the same goal
Quotes:
Papa got a Visa by taking vows in a false marriage with a widow who was leaving Haiti to come to the United States.
