Reflection on the poem performance

In those days performance, I have seen many factors in hat influence the play, or change the poem into a performance. The first thing I saw is the dynamics. In Helen's play, the most important thing is to show the dynamics. Her poem's themes are about love and depressed feelings. By adding dynamics and control the volume of her sound audience could feel the those themes. The second thing I think that makes the performance different is the props. Take my performance as an example. I used an apple to show to audience that there were trees around me. I also used broom to show that I am doing my work; and by picking up the rose during I am working, I made a point that people should pay more attention on the nature, rather than focusing on the works all day. The last thing that makes the poem vivid is the background music they pick. Sometimes music can help you to create a atmosphere. Like in my performance, I used background music to tell the audience that I was facing the sea. In others' performance, like in Lesley's, some part she was singing. It has difference in singing out and reading out. Singing out with the music, the poem becomes a performance, because it has dynamics in it.
